Late one night in February 2014 at The Granada, Travis Klein was grooving to the soulful sounds of Robert Randolph's steel guitar when his future soulmate Robin Edwards caught his eye. Travis was introduced to Robin by his fraternity brother, Mark Foster, who attended Plano Senior High School with Robin. Travis knew there was something special about Robin and he knew he could not let her leave the concert without getting her phone number. Robin played hard to get, even giving Travis the wrong phone number, but that wouldn't stop Travis. He tracked her down and asked her to go see musician, Amos Lee, with him for their first date. It was an offer she couldn't refuse. Robin was quickly swept off her feet. The two soon became best friends.
The next year and a half, Travis and Robin would bond over their love of music and laughter. The two would attend many concerts together. Robin became a "band-aide" to Travis's band, Timmy & The Naturals. Travis brought Robin to his church where he plays the guitar on Sunday mornings. Robin taught Travis to "call the hogs," and become a Razorback fan. The two traveled far and wide from the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, the rolling hills of South Texas, the lights of Vegas, and danced to the Rolling Stones at Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City. They shared special moments as well as their dreams of their future together. Robin and Travis fell deeply in love.
On Robin's 28th birthday, July 3, 2015, Travis made plans to attend another Amos Lee concert, the same musician they saw on their first date. Travis planned the day out perfectly. It started with mani's/pedi's and sight seeing at Reunion Tower. Before heading to the concert, Travis got down on his knee and asked Robin to marry him. She said, "YES!" ...and so the story begins.
